General description

Sovereign Cloud is T-Systems' cloud offering for clients with high sovereignty needs. Clients in regulated sectors such as healthcare and the public sector are put in complete charge of their data – on an open-source platform, hosted in Europe. Our focus is to build new product – Open Sovereign Cloud within T- Systems international cloud portfolio. Cloud Administrator participates on operations part and ensures customer specific implementation of services defined in Sovereign Cloud offering.

As a Cloud Administrator for Sovereign Cloud, you will be important part of next-generation cloud solutions, with the focus on EU healthcare, security and public sector area. You will plan, implement and maintain cloud solutions with set of sovereignty controls and measures. Cloud Administrator coordinate and improve operations activities needed to provide IT services and the supporting cloud platform in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s. Cloud Administrator checks, executes, and creates tickets (problem ticket, change management ticket, incident) in order to maintain service to customers according to given quality KPIs. Performs operational tasks on Cloud environment.

 Accountabilities: 

  • Overview and understanding cloud platforms and administration of cloud based technologies including configuration & debugging
  • Performing system maintenance that will meet business needs within SLA frames (incident, problem, change management)
  • Creation of technical documentation
  • Performing root-cause analysis for service interruption recovery and creating preventive measures
  • Evaluate, authorize, prioritize, plan, test, implement, document and review complex implementations in controlled manner or escalate to higher authority
  • Investigate the root cause of complex incidents and then initiate actions to improve or correct the situation
  • Responsible for understanding Customer needs: implementation, and maintenance of Sovereign cloud services to allow customers to run systems for their business applications
  • Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards
  • Diagnose and resolve tickets or escalate complex tickets with direct/potential impact related to IT infrastructure
  • Contact person for stakeholders (Operations Team, Customer)
  • Participation on Agile/Scrum events (Daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospective sessions, and customer sprint reviews)

 Experience 

  • 1 year - ICT System

 IT Technical skills 

  • Linux server Administration - Basic (1 year)
  • Kubernetes Administration - Basic
  • Networking - Basic (1 year)
  • Automation tools (Ansible, etc) - Basic (1 year)
  • Monitoring tools (Grafana, etc) - Basic (1 year)
  • Scripting languages (Python, Bash)

 Soft skills 

  • Agile methodology - Basic (1 year)
  • DevOps overview - Basic (1 year)

 Languages 

  • English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 930€/brutto.
